DeMayo Law Offices is seeking a Case Manager to communicate regularly with clients to help resolve client questions & provide case status updates. This role is also responsible for setting up new client files, reviewing sign up documents for errors or missing information, and requesting medical records and bills on behalf of our clients as needed.


Responsibilities

  • Set up new mass tort files
  • Make/receive 30-40+ calls per day to/from client
  • Resolve client questions, provide updates on status of the case, and document communications in our case management software
  • Review documents & scan into the case file daily
  • Send documents to clients periodically
  • Occasionally request client medical records and bills from providers
  • Assist the Mass Tort Paralegal on projects as needed
  • Serve as backup for Receptionist & other office need
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; however, a combination of education, certifications and experience may be considered
  • One year of office/administrative experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally/over the phone
  • Must be persistent to follow up or requested information
  • Must be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative to complete duties without supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize job responsibilities to accommodate an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Office and ability to learn and use various software programs
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
