GEO has a current need for tutors in the areas of Band/Choir, Theater, Robotics and Chess.

REPORTS TO/TERM: 

GEO Foundation 

Part Time: $35/hr, hours will be after school with some availability during school hours.

Essential Duties:

· Provide leadership and supervision for after school club, including students, mentors, and other team members.

· Determine role and selection of members of group. Establish club goals and plan for preparation.

· Encourage students to learn the desired subject matter and improve their skills.

· Document the students' individual and group progress throughout the program.

Required Qualifications:

· Advance knowledge and experience within subject matter of club 

· Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work with school-aged children in a co-teaching capacity.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ongoing professional development to stay up to date on state and national standards of club subject matter.
