Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Part-Time Copywriter with 2+ years of professional writing experience to join our brand marketing team. This role is crucial in helping Zerorez correctly position, message, and convert its ideal target audience into paying and repeat customers. You will help sell the benefits of Zerorez across multiple platforms, ensuring voice consistency, brand integrity, and legal compliance. 


The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, excellent storytelling skills, SEO knowledge, passion for the user experience (UX), and the ability to craft engaging, persuasive copy. 


This role works closely with the Marketing Director over brand strategy and is part of the creative development marketing team. You will also support other departments and teams throughout the organization, and outside agencies, as needed. 

This is a flexible position based at our headquarters in American Fork, UT with some allowance to work from home.  

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help establish, refine, and document our ideal brand voice.
  • Write clear, compelling, and engaging copy for a variety of mediums including websites, blogs, email campaigns, social media, and print materials.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to develop cohesive messaging strategies.
  • Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, style, and tone.
  • Optimize website copy for SEO to enhance website visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Research industry trends and insights to create relevant, impactful content.
  • Ensure all copy meets brand, legal, and messaging guidelines.
  • Revise copy based on feedback and performance data to improve effectiveness.
  • Meet deadlines and manage time efficiently while handling multiple projects.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional copywriting experience (agency or in-house preferred).
  • Proven experience writing for a variety of platforms and audiences.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to suit different formats and brand voices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in collaboration with a team.
  • Must be able to take and receive constructive feedback and critique.
  • Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM or higher.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and keyword optimization is a plus.
  • TV and Radio script writing experience is a plus.
  • A Bachelor's degree in English or a related field is a plus. 
  • Portfolio of work that demonstrates writing versatility.
