In this job, you'll be working directly with customers - in-person, via phone, and through e-mail - to meet their musical needs by:
- Selling - instruments, accessories, print music, etc.
- Renting - band, orchestra & other instruments, accessible to everyone!
- Enrolling - sign up new students for lessons at the Menchey School of Music!
Other duties include:
- Troubleshooting customer issues and finding solutions
- Maintaining a clean and organized store
- Opening and closing the store according to policies
- Cash handling - daily balancing of cash drawer
- Training on instruments, new products, and sales techniques
Required Experience:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Ability to play a musical instrument
- General knowledge of musical instruments and written music
Preferred Experience:
- Previous retail or sales experience
These positions are year-round and permanent. It is not a seasonal or summer-only position.
