Job Summary
As a Payarc Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be a ‘hunter’ and have an in-depth understanding and proven track record within the payments industry, having sold into ISV, and ISO-type organizations such as fintech companies, e-commerce companies, subscription-based services and SAAS companies. The position requires the individual to successfully sell Payarc’s payments gateway platform to new sales partners, specifically ISVs.
This Payarc BDM reports directly to the SVP of Strategy & Business Development.
- Directly identify and develop new sales partners/ISVs with large merchants/partners with strong presence across the United States.
- Establish an extensive pipeline of sales opportunities of ISVs, manage the development of the pipeline and accurately forecast sales to the SVP.
- Actively understand the ISV prospect’s business and domestic payments footprint, their strategic growth plans for merchants, and competitive landscape.
- Introduce Payarc’s operation, and sales engineers at the appropriate stages of the sales cycle to move opportunities forward to contract.
- Negotiate contracts in a complex selling environment between various stakeholders across different verticals.
- Be disciplined to forecast accurately using Payarc’s reporting CRM and processes.

- Develop new sales strategy and identify high value ISV prospects.
- Creative problem solver ability to manage stressful situations whilst juggling multiple challenges.
- Demonstrated success with large transactions and lengthy sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative, and competitive market.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- Proven success in complex C-level negotiations, including all technical, compliance, legal and commercial aspects.
- 5-7 years’ experience in Business Development/Sales/Account Management within global enterprises
- Prior payments industry experience.
- Must be able and willing to travel within the United States.
Education Requirements
