The Enterprise Account Executive (Enterprise AE) is a high-impact sales role responsible for driving Elixir’s revenue growth by acquiring new enterprise customers and expanding relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with exceptional relationship-building skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in enterprise sales. This role requires the ability to navigate complex sales cycles, understand customer pain points, and effectively articulate Elixir’s unique value proposition in the customer communications management (CCM) space.
Essential Functions
Under the general supervision of the Managing Director, Sales, the essential functions include:
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue quotas by securing new logos and expanding existing accounts
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline valued at 3-4 times the annual quota, leveraging tools like Salesforce to ensure accuracy and transparency in all stages of the sales cycle
- Leverage Elixir's marketing and business development efforts to identify and act on potential sales opportunities, consistently contributing to pipeline growth
- Align all sales efforts with Elixir’s strategic initiatives, including cloud migration and CCM transformation, while maintaining flexibility to adjust tactics as market dynamics shift
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Pre-Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Success, to ensure seamless execution from lead generation to deal closure
- Actively engage in contract negotiations, including subscription agreements, statements of work, and master service agreements, ensuring alignment with Elixir’s legal and financial standards
- Lead contract discussions with a focus on securing customer outcomes while protecting Elixir’s long-term business interests
- Take ownership of responding to complex customer inquiries, developing tailored proposals, and coordinating product demos, ensuring a consultative sales approach that positions Elixir as a trusted advisor
- Deliver compelling, customized product demonstrations and sales presentations that clearly communicate the value of Elixir’s cloud-based CCM solutions to prospective customers
- Maintain a deep understanding of Elixir’s full product suite, including its cloud-native capabilities, AI-driven automation, and multi-channel delivery options, enabling effective solution selling
- Maximize customer engagements across various platforms—face-to-face meetings, virtual presentations, trade shows, and conferences—to ensure continuous prospect and customer interaction
- Provide market and customer feedback to senior leadership, contributing to product roadmap decisions and go-to-market strategies
- Advocate for Elixir in the marketplace, securing customer endorsements in the form of case studies, testimonials, and other forms of social proof

- Strong understanding of customer communications management (CCM) software, cloud-based solutions, and enterprise software sales, ensuring the ability to align customer challenges with Elixir’s offerings
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets, with a resilient attitude in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product, and Legal
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor while aligning Elixir’s solutions with the customer’s business needs
Required education and experience
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise account management or sales, with a focus on business-to-business (B2B) sales in the SaaS or customer communications management (CCM) software space
- 3+ years of experience specifically in subscription-model or recurring revenue sales
- Demonstrated success managing long sales cycles and closing complex deals with multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency in CRM and sales enablement tools, including Salesforce, Seamless.ai, Outreach, and others, with a commitment to data-driven selling
Preferred education and experience
- Experience with customer communications management software
