Cyber Engineer Intern


We are seeking talented and motivated sophomores, juniors, or seniors pursuing a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree to join our team as interns. This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment.  Successful candidates will work alongside our engineers on cutting-edge projects involving reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, software development, Kubernetes, mission automation, and DevSecOps. This position will give you the opportunity to collaborate with an engineering team to accomplish the problems using state-of-the-art innovations and technologies. 


Responsibilities

  • Assist in reverse engineering tasks and vulnerability analysis on software systems.
  • Contribute to software development projects using languages like C, C++, and Python.
  • Help implement and manage cloud-based environments, including work with Kubernetes.
  • Support mission automation initiatives and script development.
  • Participate in DevSecOps practices, including security integration in development workflows.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers on government-focused cybersecurity projects.
  • Apply emerging technologies to solve complex problems in a team setting.
Requirements

 Requirements

  • Sophomore, junior, or senior standing in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree program.
  • Strong foundation in programming and computer science principles.
  • Familiarity with software development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and network protocols.
  • Interest in cloud technologies, containerization, and automation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies in a fast-paced setting.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • 40 hours per week onsite at Cryptic Vector. 

This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions, therefore this posting is only for U.S. Citizens.
