The Position
The Product Manager, Business Systems will be responsible for evaluating, prioritizing, estimating, designing and delivering technology enhancements for the custom business systems used by Aria employees to service our customers. They will be responsible for improving internal workflows, supporting new and changing business needs, and maintaining system functionality.
Responsibilities include assessing and prioritizing requests, gathering requirements, defining functional specifications, assessing current systems and process to proactively identify improvements, creating design documents, configuring systems, providing functional leadership and support to the solution development team, and testing solution prior to implementation.
The primary focus of this position is the Salesforce system used by multiple departments within Aria and the integrations between Salesforce and other applications. Responsibilities may also include other applications within the Aria ecosystem.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage incoming change requests. This includes clarifying the business need, evaluating scope, quantifying ROI, and ensuring requests are moved through the process in an efficient and timely manner.
- Review existing processes and systems to proactively identify workflow improvements with high ROI.
- Recommend thoughtful, creative solutions that deliver functionality and operability. Balance “the best” solution with budget and time-frame requirements to delivery ROI.
- Develop functional specifications for prioritized change requests and recommend solution options.
- Work with the development team to design and tests enhancements.
- Complete system configuration within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Complete documentation for user teams and support to ensure a smooth implementation handoff for enhancements. Deliver training to super users as appropriate.
- Become a subject matter expert on our Salesforce data model, custom application, workflow and integration functionality. Provide functional support for business teams and tier 3 technical support for the systems team.
- Create and maintain documentation of Aria custom system components.
- Protect the company by handling sensitive and protected business information with appropriate safeguards and confidentiality.
- Becomes a subject matter expert on our Salesforce data model and workflow across all departments and functions.
- Articulate complex workflows and concepts to audiences with varying degrees of technical acumen.
- Communicates effectively and often with key business constituents and within the systems team.
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- 5+ years Salesforce platform experience (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, General Configuration, Flows, Lightning)
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Solution Architect, Business Analyst or Consultant in a customer facing role
- Preferred Salesforce Certifications: Administrator, Consultant
- Preferred experience designing Salesforce integrations with 3rd party applications & databases
- Understanding of technical capabilities of Flows, Salesforce configuration, Visual Force, Salesforce APIs, and APEX Triggers (development skills not required)
- Preferred experience in Financial Services/Insurance and/or Healthcare/Life Sciences

- Quality control/Attention to detail — Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; monitor own work to ensure quality and apply feedback to improve performance
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience using visual process and data representation tools is preferred
Physical Effort & Working Conditions
Work is performed remotely (home office) or in a normal office setting in our Overland Park, KS headquarters with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Substantial time is spent working on a computer.
