What you’ll do

Reporting directly to the CRO, the SVP of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance Capacity’s brand identity and visibility in order to generate leads and support the company’s overall growth objectives. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the contact center technology & AI space and a proven track record leading successful marketing teams. The individual in this role will lead and mentor the marketing team and is accountable for developing marketing strategies to ensure we hit our pipeline development, customer engagement, and revenue targets. 


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Partner with the Executive and Business teams to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Capacity’s products and drive lead generation, customer acquisition and retention goals. 
  • Product Marketing: Collaborate with product to develop crystal-clear, differentiated product messaging and positioning as well as corresponding marketing strategies to drive market share and revenue growth.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and event marketing. Ensure campaigns are effective, on-budget, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the company’s brand identity and positioning across multiple brands and channels.
  • Content Creation: Lead the development of compelling content for various platforms, including website, blog, social media, email, and promotional materials. Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to produce high-quality content.
  • Lead Generation: Implement strategies to generate high-quality leads and nurture prospects through the sales funnel. Track and analyze lead generation metrics to optimize performance.
  • Brand Unity: Establish and maintain cohesive brand identities across all channels and touchpoints, ensuring consistency and synergy among brands (as appropriate)
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget. Allocate resources effectively and ensure marketing expenditures deliver a strong return on investment.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members and ensure the team is equipped to execute consistently across the organization. Align marketing team goals with business needs, provide feedback, and monitor results and ROI on marketing efforts.
  • Partnerships and Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with industry partners, influencers, and media. Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Vendor Management: Provide vendor recommendations, negotiate agreements, and oversee all marketing vendors and third-party professional services.
  • Industry Knowledge: Develop and maintain knowledge of industry, economic, and market conditions.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics. Provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management based on data-driven insights.
Requirements

Your skill-set:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 15 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in Contact Center and AI space is preferred. 
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., SEO, PPC, social media, CRM).
  • Experience with marketing automation and analytics tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners in a dynamic environment.
