JOB SUMMARY:
RafterOne's Salesforce B2B Practice is searching for a tech-savvy, self-motivated Salesforce and solutions Engineer to join our team as a Senior Salesforce B2B Commerce Engineer. In this role, you’ll potentially serve in a dual capacity supporting both heads-down implementation of requirements working in unison with our BA and mentoring a team of Engineers that work out of our Delivery Center in India. You’ll partner with the client and those on your implementation team to ensure the delivery of a successful Salesforce solution leveraging creativity and superb customer engagement. In this position, you’ll juggle complex requirements and high expectations in parallel within a fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- A senior member of software team; design, develop, implemented and test software applications using Salesforce.com platform, APEX, Visual force, Lightning, CPQ, B2B Commerce, Triggers, Java,
- Perform team code reviews. Adhere to overall development coding standards
- Provide training and assistance to team as necessary
- Perform configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform.
- Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentation
- Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance.
- Resolve technical issues
- Design and develop new features and enhancements
- Provide technical input regarding design and development
- Train and guide junior developers
- Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard.
- Communicate regularly with the team and clients to ensure client satisfaction, review client initiatives and team goals, and identify new business opportunities.
- Deals with tasks like management and development of continuous integration and deployment solutions across various sites
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- 4+ years of software engineering experience in Salesforce
- Experience integrating 3rd Party systems using web services - SOAP, REST etc.
- Experience with data migration and ETL/integration tools
- Responsible for solution design, configuration, and customizations
- Write technical design documents, perform code reviews, etc.
- Salesforce B2B and Salesforce CPQ Certifications are an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science OR equivalent combination of education and experience?
- Active Salesforce Admin Certification, Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Platform Developer I, and/or Active Salesforce Developer II certifications preferred
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
- Familiarity with JSON, HTML5, Bootstrap, Ajax, CSS
- Familiar with version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, Copado etc
- Proficient in Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, Java, JavaScript, SOQL/SOSL, application lifecycle management, object-oriented programming, system integration, and web services
- Knowledge of Version Control Systems like Git, SVN, CVS, Bitbucket
- SQL, SQL server, Web Servers, JavaScript, HTML, etc.
- Familiar with CI/CD and Automation Tools
- Outstanding organizational, communication, and writing skills
- Adept at communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Superior abilities in problem-solving, project management, and customer service
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence is beneficial
