Job Summary:

RafterOne is searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager to drive new implementation projects from inception to deployment. In this role, you will be on the front line with clients and collaborate with internal team members to define project milestones, develop and manage project plans, take the lead on client communications, ensure tasks are delivered on time, conduct forecasting, and manage budgets. This role will include projects of all sizes and may support multiple projects concurrently, and responsibilities will vary based on the project scope. We work from home on flexible schedules, collaborating to solve complex problems for great clients.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as lead driver in project set up, coordination of project kick-off activities and ongoing management of operational components of projects
  • Drive projects forward by setting operational expectations and ensuring internal and external resources are aligned and staying on track
  • Accountable for accurate project timelines, budgetary forecasting, and project documentation
  • Serve as the client point person on both executive-level and day-to-day communications
  • Serve as the conduit to and driver of internal RafterOne resources
  • Own project workspaces, including ownership of Jira boards, Smartsheet workspaces, and SharePoint
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones and dependencies
  • Develop and maintain a variety of project artifacts
  • Forecast and manage changing resource needs throughout the duration of a project
  • Track project budget, including identification and management of scope changes
  • Analyze a variety of metrics and forecast financial outcomes
  • Manage changing resource needs throughout duration of a project
  • Identify risks early on and drive mitigation plans
  • Other project management tasks, as needed
Requirements
  • 8+ years’ experience project managing complex, technical implementations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sprint-based, complex projects utilizing Jira and project plans, with knowledge to plan and execution and iteration throughout the project development lifecycle
  • Experience in defining expectations and driving a large number of people on cross-functional teams to complete as defined
  • Strong track record in understanding business requirements and corresponding technical solutions
  • Proven track record translating customer/client requests into actionable tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, while remaining friendly and approachable
  • Experience in developing comprehensive project plans and knowledge of various project methodologies
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including ability to communicate to executive level stakeholders as well as to day-to-day teams
  • Deep experience in managing complex budgets and tracking/forecasting financial impact of detailed project budgets
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects, deliverables, and deadlines at once while adhering to corporate standards and processes
  • Previous Professional Services experience required
  • Willingness to work typical Eastern Standard Time business hours within reason, with core hours starting no later than 10am on average
  • Experience with Salesforce implementations, data migrations, and/or integrations is required
  • PMP and/or Srum Master would make a candidate stand out
  • Salesforce admin certification is preferred
