Description

Summary:

Works with the Sales Representatives to identify customers for Finished Product and Drapery Hardware. Teach/assist in measuring for drapery and hardware. Give guidance on Hardware motorization and installation. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Represents and manages Fabricut, Stroheim, Vervain, S. Harris and Trend in a professional manner and appearance. 
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with current and potential customers. 
  • Advises customer as to kind and quantity of fabric needed for Window Treatments and appropriate hardware for specific uses. 
  • Discusses features and qualities of fabric such as weave, texture, color and usage. 
  • Teach customers how to navigate the Fabricut websites for Finished Product and Hardware. 
  • Assist/teach customers how to accurately measure window treatments and hardware. 
  • Writes up Quotes for window treatments and hardware. 
  • Respond to customer’s questions and problems on a timely basis and offer a solution as quickly as possible, mediating and resolving challenges fairly. 
  • Interfaces with other departments to provide good service. 
  • Displays good safety and housekeeping practices. 
  • Uses material and equipment effectively. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 
  • Job duties are subject to change as directed by management.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • 3-5 years’ experience with Window Treatments required 
  • Workroom knowledge beneficial 
  • Ability to learn product lines. 
  • Excellent organizational skills. 
  • Superb interpersonal skills. 
  • Must be able to work effectively with others. 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. 
  • Must be able to travel overnight for most sales territories. 
  • Excellent driving record. 
  • Ability to follow geographical directions.
