Position Overview

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing the relationship with a group of assigned C3 accounts. Through a focused approach this individual will establish sales priorities, action plans and deliver/exceed on sales goals. This person will be assigned accounts to target and market C3’s solutions to sustain and secure new business. They will also support the growth of C3 customer base through targeted selling efforts to prospects. They will develop high-value relationships with key stakeholders and will be responsible for negotiating and managing contracts as well as selling aftermarket services and products.


Key Responsibilities for this Position

  • Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding, and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.
  • Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new account, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
  • Closes new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries and verifying and entering information.
  • Develops accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
  • Develops a thorough understanding of the account needs and develops account plans to strategically approach the client. 
  • Maintains and improves quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining database (HubSpot, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information. Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
  • Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements

Experience & Education Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales working with customer relationship management required, capital equipment sales experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/HubSpot experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering field required.
