Description

Gordon Feinblatt is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Business Law Practice Group. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a thriving legal practice and work alongside experienced professionals in the field.


Key Responsibilities:

Document Preparation: Draft, proofread, and organize legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Creating binders as needed.

Calendar Management: Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and ensure deadlines are met.

Filing and Recordkeeping: Handle filing of court documents with state and federal court, while maintaining organized electronic case files. Opening and closing matters. 

Client Interaction: Maintain positive client relationships by providing timely updates and addressing inquiries professionally.

Mail: Handle and disseminate incoming mail and emails.

Time Entry: Enter attorneys billable time in our time entry system. 

Support: Additional support responsibilities as needed.



Requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant in a law firm.

Strong knowledge of court and filing procedures.

Previous experience with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate, and transactional matters is a plus.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and legal software.

A strong attention to detail, as well as organizational and multitasking skills are crucial.

Effective communication and people skills.

Initiative-taking mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
