A Little Bit About the Position


Are you passionate about designing and optimizing cloud and on-premise IT infrastructure? As the IT Cloud Engineer at Gemini Legal, you'll be responsible for deploying secure, scalable solutions that enhance system reliability and performance. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate services and leverage automation for streamlined operations. With a strong focus on security, resource management, and compliance, you'll ensure our infrastructure supports the company's success while applying the latest industry best practices.   • Location: Remote within California (must be a California resident)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm 
  • Compensation: $90,000-$115,000/year
  • Travel: Occasional travel may be required, expected up to 10% of working hours
Requirements
  • BS degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred 
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a related position 
  • Professional certifications in relevant cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus 
  • Proven experience with cloud and on-premise infrastructure 
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting tools 
  • Strong knowledge of networking, security, and systems administration 
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills 
  • Advanced time management and organizational skills 
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills 
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work and function in a fast-paced environment, on deadline 
  • Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail 
  • Proficient using a computer, business phone, office software, video conferencing, and other computer programs including Google Workplace, Microsoft applications, Zoom, Asana, and more 
  • Experience working in an office setting 
  • Exceptional teamwork 
  • Leadership ability to drive success of IT projects 


Functional Requirements

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation, including, but not limited to: 

  • Lifting, bending, standing, climbing or walking while carrying out assigned duties 
  • Lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. 
  • Sitting for at least one hour at a time (total: 4-6 hours/day) 
  • Keyboarding for extended periods of time (total: 2-4 hours/day) 
  • Using communication tools with or without a headset for extended periods (total: 2-4 hours/day) 
  • Driving for extended periods of time, up to 1-2 hours in a day and up to 25-50 miles per day
