Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Healthcare Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will focus on identifying and engaging top healthcare professionals across various specialties. This flexible opportunity is ideal for an experienced healthcare recruiter or sourcer who excels in talent identification and engagement without managing the entire recruiting process. This is a sourcing role, not a full-cycle recruitment role. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Sourcing and Identification:

  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods (online databases, job boards, healthcare-specific platforms, social media, referrals, and professional networks) to identify qualified healthcare professionals, including RNs, physicians, specialists, and allied health workers.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified healthcare candidates to meet the immediate and future needs of clients in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, credentialing requirements, and potential talent pools within the healthcare sector.

2. Candidate Engagement:

  • Source/ reach out to healthcare professionals through various channels (email, phone, social media) to introduce opportunities with Purple Cow Recruiting’s healthcare clients.
  • Schedule said candidate with a PCR Recruiter, who will continue the full cycle process with the candidate. 
  • This is a sourcing role, NOT full-cycle recruitment. 

3. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with Purple Cow Recruiting Leadership and Hiring Managers to understand specific healthcare role requirements and organizational needs.
  • Work closely with the healthcare recruitment team to design and implement targeted sourcing strategies.
  • Provide regular reports on candidate pipeline status and sourcing efforts.

4. Data Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Track sourcing metrics, such as response rates and candidate engagement, to continually refine healthcare sourcing strategies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in healthcare talent sourcing, recruiting, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare recruiting tools and platforms, such as healthcare-specific job boards, professional networks, and credentialing systems.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technology.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with healthcare professionals in a compelling manner.
