We are seeking an Assistant Fitness Manager (AFM)
The Assistant Fitness Manager:
- Is responsible for aiding and exceeding club goals, including personal training, small group personal training, supplements and personal sales
- Owns new member on-boarding and delivering a dynamic, quality fitness experience to all members.
- Responsible for total team execution of all company quality assurance standards.
- Hires, trains and develops a strong team of Personal Trainers.
- Responsible for small group personal training staffing and execution in partnership with key program leaders.
- Maintains leadership role as the fitness expert for the club team and members.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Personal Sales
- Staffing and Development
- Conduct weekly (or as-needed) meetings with direct reports to review performance and offer direction, motivation, guidance and accountability to exceeding goals and objectives.
- Manage the fitness schedule.
- Ensures all members have access to a service oriented, well trained, expert fitness team that is able to provide fitness guidance, training and programs.
- Ensure that all Personal Trainers are delivering high quality programs to their clients.
- Ensure accurate administration of Personal Training including client profiles, progress tracking, and workout programs.
- Complete personal training sessions and/or small group training as necessary.
Certifications / Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Must be CPT certified
- Current CPR and AED
