Position Summary:? The Sales Development Specialist is vital to Concept’s operations and its clients. This position oversees a portfolio of clients, developing new business while creating direct, long-term, trusting relationships with those clients. The Sales Development Specialist is not closely supervised and therefore must be an independent thinker and decision-maker.
Essential Functions:?
- Formulate, affect, interpret, and implement changes to the delivery of sales development programs for clients, improving strategic approaches and maximizing client engagement.
- Independently manage and execute sales development activities, including proactive outreach and conducting detailed account and contact research to identify opportunities for enhanced marketing strategies.
- Critically evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of project strategies, messaging, and overall processes; autonomously initiate improvements and refinements based on comprehensive hands-on experience.
- Independently execute, validate, and review project metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs); take initiative to provide expert analysis and recommendations for the refinement of these metrics to ensure accuracy and effectiveness in tracking project success.
- Proactively and independently identify, troubleshoot, and engage in problem solving issues and operational challenges within projects, taking independent action to resolve concerns.
- Must demonstrate high-level initiative and leadership in operational excellence.?
Decision Making Authority: The Sales Development Specialist has decision-making authority to independently modify overall project strategy and processes. This includes the freedom to initiate adjustments and improvements autonomously to optimize client engagement and program effectiveness. Furthermore, this authority extends to proactively identifying and resolving performance issues, enabling the specialist to implement real-time refinements and ensure the ongoing success of sales development initiatives. This level of autonomy ensures that the specialist acts as a key driver in shaping and directing the course of sales development strategies while maintaining operational excellence throughout project lifecycles.
Professionalism & Integrity:? The Sales Development Specialist is expected to professionally represent Concept. This includes moral character, good business decisions, professional appearance and leading by example.? The Sales Development Specialist will be expected to make judgment decisions without the input of the Director of Sales Development Operations and at other times use discretion to determine when the input of the Director is appropriate.?

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success generating high quality, sales development results in a variety of different industries.
- Demonstrated proficiency using CRM, preferably Salesforce.com and/or HubSpot.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Must be able to demonstrate report/dashboard creation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Working Conditions: This is a work from home position which allows you to work from home for all or part of your work week. The company at its discretion can request in-office meetings or other reasons to be in the office and it is understood you must comply with these requests.
