Job Summary
Rapidly growing financial services company which provides recordkeeping and administrative services in the retirement plan marketplace is seeking a dynamic internal wholesaler to assist with the development and execution of sales to financial advisors and third party administrators. Together with the sales team, the candidate will provide support to investment advisors, generate proposals, communicate plan design strategies and coordinate the implementation of agreements and contracts.
The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of sales experience in the Non-ERISA retirement marketplace, including 403(b), 457, HSA, and/or IRA. The candidate should have a proven track record working with external sales teams on strategies, activity management and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide support to financial advisors, TPA’s and the external sales team
- Collect new plan establishment documents
- Follow up for outstanding or missing documents
- Generate proposals to support sales team in prospecting for and selling institutional retirement programs to advisors and TPA’s
- Mutual fund revenue analysis
- Coordinating and maintaining new and existing business process through Salesforce.com CRM database
- Build processes to maximize the value of our materials and retirement programs
- Manage the development, approval and distribution of communications targeted to financial professionals, plan sponsors and participants
- Ability to communicate and create solid working relationships with sales, new business and client service team members
- Evaluation and assistance in the completion of RFP responses
- Understanding of the retirement plan marketplace
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Polite and professional telephone and follow up skills
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects
- Possibility of limited travel
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and MS Teams
- Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2 years of experience

Compensation Information
The average salary for this position is expected to be between $45,000 and $75,000/year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We do not anticipate candidates to be paid at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis.
