Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inventory and Procurement Manager to join our team at a leading IT services and solutions company. In this dual role, you will oversee inventory management and procurement processes for technology hardware and related products, while leading a team of direct reports. Your primary goal will be to ensure the right products are available at the right time, optimize costs, strengthen supplier relationships, and provide exceptional post-purchase support to ensure seamless service delivery for our customers. 


 Inventory Management: 

  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Schedule and oversee regular inventory audits and analyze stock levels.
  • Develop and propose changes to inventory control policies and procedures, with a focus on maintaining proper asset tracking.
  • Collaborate with various departments to forecast inventory needs.
  • Ensure proper distinction and separation between customer-owned and company-owned inventory within our 88,000 sq ft facility.

Procurement: 

  • Manage the procurement process for IT hardware, working with various 3rd party suppliers, OEMs, and technology vendors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless warranty claims handling.
  • Aid in the development and implementation of the OEM warranty process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.

 

Requirements


Previous experience in the following areas

  • Maintaining vendor relations.
  • Managing and monitoring inventory valuations.
  • Forecasting and supply chain management.
  • Understanding, organizing, and presenting data.
  • Process development & implementation
  • Managing individuals responsible for similar tasks as listed above.

Qualifications: 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in inventory management and Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware and technology solutions.
