We are growing and are actively recruiting in the greater Albuquerque area. We are looking for full time and part time medical and behavioral health professionals, including social workers, community health workers (CHWs), and case managers for two new programs: Health Yeah! an equity-centered mobile health program that travel to Albuquerque public schools and an inclusive substance use treatment program inside and outside of the Metropolitan Detention Center.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required.
  • Minimum of [2] years of experience working as a medical assistant in a clinical setting
  • Experience working in primary care required
  • Experience working in public health and infectious disease (eg HIV) preferred
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, particularly when working with vulnerable populations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and situations.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various locations for street medicine outreach activities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and preventative measures (HIPAA confidentiality, infection spread, etc.)
  • Demonstrated phlebotomy skills are required.
  • having some type of child based care.

  • Spanish speaking (preferred)
Salary Description
$20 - $25 per hour
