Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Analyst to manage and oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in financial analysis, including the ability to assess the company’s financial health, evaluate industry trends, and identify investment opportunities.
- The role requires a thorough understanding of tax regimes and tax-saving investments, as well as expertise in processing payroll transactions, managing vendor payments, and handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple financial functions efficiently are essential. The successful candidate should possess advanced knowledge of financial management practices, familiarity with financial software and ERP systems, and the ability to provide accurate financial insights and support.
Requirements
- Financial Analysis
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to evaluate the company’s financial health and identify industry trends. Assess financial statements to determine investment opportunities.
- Financial Oversight:
- Oversee and manage financial functions, including assessment, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxation, consolidation, cost control, and project control.
- Statutory Compliance:
- Oversee and execute statutory payments, such as Provident Fund (PF), Professional Tax (PT), and Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) challans. Ensure timely and accurate filing of Goods and Services Tax (GST), vendor TDS, and employee tax returns. Assist in maintaining compliance with MCA regulations.
- Accrual Management:
- Manage and review accrual entries for Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet (BS) items, ensuring precise payroll reconciliations and necessary reclassifications.
- Tax Knowledge:
- Possess detailed knowledge of tax regimes and tax-saving investments to ensure optimal financial planning and compliance.
- Vendor Payments:
- Facilitate the processing of vendor payments, review new vendor details for compliance, and ensure the correct application of TDS sections. Verify vendor accounts, process payments, and resolve any discrepancies related to purchase orders, invoices, or payments.
- Employee Payments and Payroll:
- Process all payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions. Monitor and resolve payroll discrepancies, investigating and rectifying issues promptly. Perform payroll audits and reconciliations to identify and correct errors.
- Accounts Management:
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Onboarding and Support:
- Assist with finance-related onboarding activities for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into financial processes.
- Liaison with Head Office Finance Team:
- Act as the point of contact between the company and the head office finance team, coordinating financial activities and ensuring alignment with corporate policies and procedures.
- Audit and Process Management:
- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit queries. Continuously review and improve financial processes for efficiency and compliance.
- Invoice Verification:
- Verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies before processing payments. Ensure timely resolution of any discrepancies or issues related to invoices.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Comprehensive training in payroll management, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems is required.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- In-depth understanding of payroll regulations, statutory compliance, and tax laws (including GST, TDS, and income tax).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with employees, vendors, and auditors.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to address and resolve complex financial issues.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
