Description

We are currently hiring for a dynamic and effective Scheduling and Registrar Coordinator to join our on campus team.    

The Scheduling and Registrar Coordinator provides support to the Registrar’s Office and Associate Registrar within the area of registration and scheduling. This role ensures that all scheduling processes run smoothly and efficiently. The Scheduling and Registrar Coordinator demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills, advanced computer skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a variety of people.  This position is located on our Draper, UT campus.

WHAT YOU DO EVERYDAY:    

  • Provide assistance and guidance to students regarding course selection, registration procedures, and academic policies
  • Review coursework for academic equivalency using University catalogs, course descriptions, syllabi and other materials
  • Maintain and update student records in the registration system
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling and registration inquiries, responding to emails, phone calls, and in-person requests promptly
  • Assist with reports on enrollment, course availability, and scheduling efficiency as needed
  • Work closely with academic departments, admissions, and administrative staff to ensure the smooth functioning of scheduling and registration systems
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and make necessary adjustments to meet institutional goals
  • Receive, review and process all incoming education verifications
  • Knowledge of transcript procedures, grading systems, and course equivalencies
  • Knowledge of software used in student records including student information systems; word processing, electronic mail, internet skills, database management, and spreadsheet applications
  • Accurately and efficiently use a variety of word processing and other software, spreadsheet and/or database programs to create/produce letters, reports, spreadsheets and other documents 
  • Effective customer service communication and skills including; etiquette, math percentages and decimals, grammar and spelling using patience and courtesy
  • Understand and follow oral and written directions
  • Responsible for tracking and maintaining accurate student files
  • Provides support for degree completion
  • Maintains and follows FERPA and all other regulations regarding protection of student information
  • Other duties as assigned 
Requirements

WHAT YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED:  

  • Required education:  Associates degree
  • Preferred education:  Bachelor’s degree
  • Required experience:  2-3 years in a professional administrative environment
  • Preferred Experience:  Higher education background

Salary Description
$21.00 to $24.00 per hour
