Description

As an Account Manager with BizIQ you will be responsible for ensuring the success and satisfaction of our marketing services clients. You will serve as the primary point of contact, proactively addressing customer needs, resolving issues, building value, and fostering long-term relationships. This role will involve providing strategic guidance, optimizing campaign performance, driving customer retention and revenue growth.

OBJECTIVES

  • Account Management including, but not limited to, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and managing their accounts, handling any updates, changes, or inquiries that may arise, while also monitoring account performance and identifying opportunities for improvement or growth.
  • Regularly monitor and analyze clients’ digital marketing performance, including metrics such as website traffic, social media engagement, and conversion rates. Provide recommendations for optimization and improvement based on these insights.
  • Project coordination with internal teams, such as marketing, design, and content creation, to ensure client projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and to better understand their needs and business goals. 
  • Communicate regularly with clients through phone calls, emails, and meetings, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Address and resolve any client issues or complaints, coordinating with internal teams as needed to provide timely and effective solutions. Escalate critical issues to management when necessary.
  • Proactively work to retain clients by ensuring their satisfaction with the company's services and addressing any potential issues before they escalate. Identify opportunities for upselling additional services or products that could benefit clients' business goals.


COMPETENCIES

  • Understanding of Digital Marketing and local SEO practices, preferably with proficiency in Google Analytics & Google Adwords.
  • Basic understanding of local search ranking factors is recommended.
  • Effective in understanding and discussing small business online marketing goals, and providing effective strategies to achieve those objectives.
  • Must possess exceptional project management skills, be highly organized and detail-oriented, and have the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal communication and ability to express ideas, instructions, and feedback effectively and clearly.This includes being able to articulate complex concepts in a simple, understandable manner.
  • Excellent written communication, including ability to write clear and concise emails, reports, proposals, and other forms of written communication. This includes using proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
  • Familiarity with negotiating tactics with clients or vendors to achieve mutually beneficial agreements, particularly in the local SEO landscape.
  • Exceptional at implementing strategic plans to meet retention goals, ensuring client satisfaction and preventing churn through proactive account actions and exceptional service delivery.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • 2-4 years of experience in an account manager or client-facing role, preferably within the digital marketing industry, for example in SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
  • 1+ years experience with Google Suite and CRM tools such as, or similar, to Zoho, Monday or HubSpot.
  • 1+ year experience in a metrics-driven organization, with a focus on upselling and maintaining client retention goals. (Our quarterly retention targets are 97%).
  • Google Analytics/AdWords Certification is a big plus. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods attending or presenting on video calls with camera on.

Salary Description
$45,000 - $58,000 OTE Annually
