Description


This position is based in our Wyoming, MN or Grand Forks, ND offices. Preferred candidates must be willing to work on-site to foster teamwork, expertise, and collaboration.  


As a Photogrammetrist / Stereo Compiler with 95West, a Widseth company, you’ll be working on challenging projects providing geospatial mapping services to clients throughout the United States.  If you love working with innovative solutions to meet diverse needs of clients, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!


Your focus will be on: 

• Producing highly accurate Planimetric and Digital Terrain Model (DTM) mapping data often in conjunction with Lidar data using DATEM Summit Evolution software. 

• Compiling accurate datasets for engineering and transportation design applications.

• Working as part of an integrated team in following workflows and sharing projects across other departments and disciplines.  

• Approaching projects with an attention to detail and efficiency to ensure quality standards and production schedules are met. 

• Utilizing effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to communicate effectively with team members.


To be considered for this position you’ll need to meet any of the following minimum qualifications:

• Post High School education in Geography, Cartography, GIS, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Programming, CADD Systems Training, Survey, or relevant Geospatial disciplines.

• Prior experience compiling high accuracy photogrammetric detail. 

• Excellent 3D Stereo vision required.

• Strong understanding of mapping practices.

• Experience using photogrammetric software platforms, such as but not limited to:  ImageStation (ISAT, OrthoPro, etc.), Trimble Inpho Suite (Match-AT, OrthoMaster, OrthoVista, etc.), Summit Evolution, Global Mapper, ArcGIS, etc.

• Experience in MicroStation, Civil 3D, and/or other computer-aided drafting software programs.

• Knowledge of photogrammetric principals such as serial triangulation (AT), bundle adjustments, stereo compilation, camera calibration, and more.

• Professional certification through the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) or state licensure is a major plus.
