Description

  

Peak Dental Services, a prominent Inc 5000 fastest-growing healthcare company, is adding a VP of Analytics to our leadership team. This position is part of the executive team and reports directly to our CFO. We offer a remote working environment in a growing private equity-backed healthcare organization with opportunities for growth and advancement.


The VP of Analytics will lead a team of data analysts and implement an analytics strategy to support the organization’s business objectives. The Director of Analytics should be at the forefront of reporting and generating reports in PowerBI and an advanced MS Excel and Azure user.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of data analysts, providing guidance, direction, and support in their day-to-day activities.
  • Develop a comprehensive analytics strategy to support the organization's business objectives.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources, including internal systems, third-party tools, and market research, to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track and measure performance against these metrics.
  • Based on data analysis, provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders, helping them make informed decisions and drive business growth.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in analytics tools and technologies and evaluate their potential to improve our data analysis capabilities.
  • Establish data quality standards, ensure data accuracy, and implement data security measures to drive data governance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data infrastructure, systems, and tools to support efficient data collection, storage, and analysis.
  • Effectively communicate complex analytical findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations, reports, and visualizations.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization, promoting analytics to drive continuous improvement and innovation.


Skill set requirements 

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proven experience in data analysis and visualization tools, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and data manipulation.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect data insights to business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year plus Incentives

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance or Computer Science. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics or a related field, with at least three years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing analytics strategies in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices and tools.
  • Experience working with large datasets and using statistical analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is preferred.
  • Certification in relevant analytics tools or methodologies is a plus.
Salary Description
$150,000-$200,000/yr
