Special Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for position), ability to obtain a CBP clearance 
    • Active CBP BI highly desired
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant degree 
  • Minimum 3 years of software development using languages like Python, JavaScript, Java and associated frameworks 
  • Experience working in an automated development environment leveraging continuous integration, continuous deployment
  • Experience developing in and deploying to the Google Cloud Platform environment 

The Gist…

 We are looking for a Software Engineer, your skillset will create useful and actionable insight for the customer through the development of analytic solutions (analytics, tools, techniques, practices, deployment, standards, performance specifications, etc.) for analytic use cases developed during the performance of this project. You will work closely with the customer team to identify platform enhancements that support the forward-looking analytics under consideration. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of a wide variety of systems and networks to include high-volume/high-availability systems. You are focused on results, a self-starter, and have demonstrated success for using analytics to drive the understanding, growth, and success of the analysis.  


What Your Day Might Include…

  • Create automated analytic capability sets (e.g., signature, behavioral, heuristic, anomalous, unsupervised-learning, predictive, and emerging) 
  • Work closely with cybersecurity personnel to understand manual analytic processes that are used to assist in the automation of those processes 
  • Support the design, development, and deployment of production systems adhering to the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline 
  • Post-deployment support of continuous analysis through the full lifecycle of the capabilities 
  • Perform functions associated with the analysis of information, refinement of analytics and countermeasure selection, reviewing output, and making upgrades/improvements to the performance of the analytics and countermeasures. 
Requirements

You’ll Bring These Qualifications…

  • U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for position).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Development or relevant degree 
  • Minimum 3 years of software development including languages like Python, Javascript, Java and associated frameworks
  • Experience working in an automated development environment, using CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, SonarQube 
  • Experience developing in and deploying to the Google Cloud Platform environment 
  • Familiarity with federal cybersecurity requirements 
  • Experience API integrations (GCP API Gateway, external system API, Machine Learning API, Vertex AI)
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various clients in order to explain and elaborate on technical details 
  • Experience in developing real- or near real-time automation 
  • Familiar with Agile Software Development practices
  • Google Cloud Platform certification preferred
