Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will focus on identifying and engaging top-tier professionals across various industries. This flexible opportunity is ideal for an experienced recruiter or sourcer who excels in talent identification and engagement without managing the entire recruitment process. Please note, this is a sourcing role, not a full-cycle recruitment role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Sourcing and Identification:
- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods (online databases, job boards, industry-specific platforms, social media, referrals, and professional networks) to identify qualified candidates across Tech, Sales, Oil & Gas, Finance, Law, and Engineering sectors.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet the immediate and future needs of clients in various settings such as tech firms, oil & gas companies, financial institutions, law firms, and engineering consultancies.
- Stay informed of industry trends, certifications, and potential talent pools within these professional services.
2. Candidate Engagement:
- Reach out to professionals through various channels (email, phone, social media) to introduce opportunities with Purple Cow Recruiting’s clients.
- Schedule candidates with a PCR recruiter, who will manage the full recruitment process.
- This is a sourcing role, NOT full-cycle recruitment.
3. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with Purple Cow Recruiting leadership and hiring managers to understand specific role requirements and organizational needs.
- Work closely with the recruitment team to design and implement targeted sourcing strategies for roles in Tech, Sales, Oil & Gas, Finance, Law, and Engineering.
- Provide regular reports on candidate pipeline status and sourcing efforts.
4. Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Track sourcing metrics, such as response rates and candidate engagement, to continually refine sourcing strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or a similar role, preferably in Tech, Sales, Oil & Gas, or professional services (Finance, Law, Engineering etc).
- Strong knowledge of recruiting tools and platforms, such as industry-specific job boards, professional networks, and credentialing systems.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technology.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with professionals in a compelling manner.
