We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate to join our Harrisburg, PA office to support our growing Real Estate, Business and Corporate and Trusts and Estates teams. 


The successful candidate will initially be part of our Real Estate, Business and Corporate, and Trusts and Estates practice groups. The candidate will have the opportunity to focus on specific areas as their career progresses.


More about the role

  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, leases, wills, trusts, corporate governance documents and other legal instruments.
  • Conduct, review, and analyze due diligence investigations.
  • Work with governmental agencies to obtain necessary development approvals.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to develop legal strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, offering clear and concise legal advice.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and client guidance.
  • Stay up to date with legal trends, legislative and regulatory changes, and relevant case law.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted and in good standing to practice law in Pennsylvania.
  • 3-6 years of experience practicing transactional law. Relevant experience, particularly in real estate and trusts and estates, preferred.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct.
