ROLE OVERVIEW
The Associate SQA Engineer will be part of an engineering team developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure high quality of all products delivered to customer production systems.
Top 3 key outcomes in the first year include:
- Automate and maintain test plans which will ensure quality of all products before delivery to customer production systems.
- Work closely with software development teams to define future updates and create accurate test plans that ensure full, accurate test coverage of all software changes
- Participate in continuous improvement of test automation frameworks to ensure broader, more efficient test coverage
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience with Atlassian product suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) is a plus
- Project planning and process improvement experience
- Experience with Java/C#/JavaScript
- Experience using any industry standard test automation frameworks or tools
- Experience automation UI and REST services
EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ years as a software developer in a TDD or test automation environment
- Recent graduate with previous internship experience would also be considered

SALARY:
AuthenticID’s salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Pursuant to the Washington Equal Pay Act, Colorado Fair Pay Act and the New York City Pay Transparency Law, the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Your level is based on our assessment of your interview performance and experience, which you can always ask the hiring manager about to understand in more detail. Salary is just one component of AuthenticID's total compensation package for employees. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, engineering, computer engineering, or a related STEM field
- A deep understanding of software development best practices
- Knowledge of generate testing theory and best practices
- Ability to translate broad business requirements into granular test plans and prioritize outlined plans for automation
- Basic experience using Python
- Experience with TDD and Agile processes
- Experience using a source control tool, preferably GIT
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well with others and in teams
- Proven problem-solving skills
