As our Food Runner/Waterpark Attendant, you will assist in all food and beverage operations on property including Bananas waterpark slide and ticket window.
This position is for the 2025 season, start dates range during Month of May, Memorial Day weekend through the summer availability required.
This position may require flexible scheduling availability.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate table in a timely and accurate manner
- Clean and set tables with utensils, dishes, glassware, and other necessary items before and after each meal service
- Ensure that each food order is complete and accurately prepared as per the customer's request
- Communicate with kitchen staff regarding any modifications or changes to food orders
- Assist servers in providing excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, refilling drinks, and removing empty plates
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas by clearing tables, sweeping and mopping floors
- Follow safety regulations and guidelines while performing duties to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Prior experience as a food runner or similar position is preferred
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and objects
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations is an added advantage
