Personality Profile


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented developer to assist and complement our senior developer.  As a team member one will work closely with the senior developer to design, develop, and maintain software applications that enhance internal systems, improve integration requirements and enrich communication tools. This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment with hands-on experience in the full software development lifecycle.


Job Summary


This position will be tailored to the skills of the applicant.  The position will assist in the development of internal systems and communication tools.  The position will work closely with existing developer resources. Any experience with web development, java, SQL+, Oracle database, MS SQL database, etc. can drive additional opportunities.


Job Responsibilities

· Collaborate with the developers to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while maintaining best practices

· Assist in the design, development, testing and implementation of new features and enhancements for applications

· Perform debugging and troubleshooting to ensure the optimal performance of applications while maintaining reasonable user interaction

· Participate in design, development, testing and deployment of interfaces and/or integration between business systems

· Write and maintain technical documentation

· Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within IT Team and overall company

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education and Experience


· Currently enrolled or completion of some technical, associates or bachelor’s degree credits in the relevant field 


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


· Basic understanding of programming languages such as HTML, CSS (tailwind), JavaScript, Python, SQL, PHP, Perl, PL/SQL+, etc.

· Knowledge of database management systems

· Ability to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to team efforts

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements


Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full time position.  Hours of work can be negotiated from 7am to 8pm Monday through Friday. Weekend hours may be needed for a special or urgent project only.


Physical Demands


This job operates in a professional office environment with end users in both an office (on-premise and remote) and manufacturing environment at multiple locations. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, video/audio tools and peripherals.
