From your PASSION to ours

This position will be responsible for all daily maintenance functions in support of the plant.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

· Organize the maintenance team’s work

· Manage Team: integrate, train, appraise, redefine responsibilities, praise, ensure development and gauge training needs

· Conduct interviews as necessary

· Lead a team: delegate, instill a sense of responsibility, set targets, communicate instructions, control, listen

· Provide reports to management 

· Record maintenance data

· Analyze and evaluate maintenance data and determine the negative or positive net effect 

· Lead and control various maintenance activities and implement corrective actions

· Propose technical and organizational improvements  

· Works with Plant Director, Maintenance Manager, Assistant Plant Director, Project Manager in scheduling maintenance in a manner which maximizes the department’s capabilities while meeting the needs of the plant 

· Monitors Work orders, PMs, and Expense Budget

· Plan and schedule labor consistent with maintenance requirements

· Apply employee safety rules and ensure they are implemented and followed

· Participate in analyzing occupational hazards and prevent potential risks

· Follow food quality and food safety programs throughout the plant 

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education

· Technical degree in Maintenance or Engineering discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience

Experience

· 5 years' experience in maintenance in dairy industry and/or food industry preferred

· 3-5 years' experience in a maintenance management/supervisory role

· Maintenance supervision, organizational tools and methods, flow management, environmental safety management, computer/office systems 

· Stable and dependable work history is required

Specialized Knowledge

· Agri-food industry technology and processes, sound maintenance practice, quality, food safety, and health and safety 

Skills/Abilities

· The ideal candidate will be proactive and dynamic, flexible and receptive to new ideas, down to earth and pragmatic, analytical and attentive to detail. He or she will also be capable of working independently in adherence to regulations, of managing stress and remaining calm under pressure, and be able to demonstrate an inquiring mind and well-developed observational skills. Will demonstrate a sense of responsibility and high professional standards, honesty and integrity, and objectivity.

Salary Description
$90,000 to $115,000 annual salary + 15% bonus
