As a Manager in Training, you will be immersed in all residential managerial duties, including group home and waiver operations. Working closely with current managers, you'll learn to uphold Pathfinders core values and policies while using Person-Centered Thinking (PCT) as a guiding principle in service delivery. Your role involves assisting with completing job duties, providing training, and filling in during manager absences to maintain service continuity.
In addition to coordinating with Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to ensure adherence to Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and weekday activities, you'll collaborate with all departments to support persons served according to their ISPs. Your responsibilities include maintaining residential finances, participating in team meetings, and implementing corrective action plans in response to internal and external audit findings. You'll also promote natural support systems, attend required training, and ensure consistent stakeholder communication.
Furthermore, you'll oversee medication administration, home maintenance, and documentation while promoting informed choice, person-centered planning, and empowerment among DSPs and persons served. Collaborating with the Call Center, you'll ensure adequate staffing coverage for quality services in residential homes.
