Summary
The Integration Analyst is responsible for establishing the scope, priorities, requirements, and objectives for projects and communicating this information to the Agile Development team. This role serves as a bridge between internal and external stakeholders to ensure final deliverables meet the needs of the business, customers, and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the bridge between the business, customer, and vendor stakeholders and the development team throughout the entire Agile software development.
- Establishes the scope, priorities, requirements, and objectives for a project and for communicating the information to the Agile Development team.
- Learns and understands business, customer, and vendor needs and translates that information into solid, usable documentation for the Agile Development team.
- Determines priorities that drive the Agile process in conjunction with business, customer and vendor stakeholders for each iteration.
- Gathers and refines requirements using: subject matter expert interviews, requirements gathering session, storyboards, prototypes, and process/workflow analysis.
- Works with business, customer, and vendor stakeholders to identify business priorities and help define the minimally viable product.
- Breaks down projects into documented user stories that represent a vertical slice of the application which delivers business value.
- Works with developers, quality analysts, and subject matter expert to define acceptance criteria for user stories.
- Conducts entry and exit meetings to ensure that acceptance criteria are met, and final deliverables satisfy business, customer, and vendor needs.
- Assists the development team in addressing team objectives.
- Analyzes third-party vendor integration guides and collects customer requirements to produce high-level systems integration and process workflow and data transfer diagrams.
- Performs data mapping between vendor system and the Company’s platform.
- Performs quality assurance testing on the developed software.
- Identifies and recommends opportunities to improve the overall integration process.
- Communicates issues and roadblocks to the business, customer, or vendor stakeholders.
- Develops user acceptance test plans with vendor.
- Other duties as required.
- Experience with completing object mapping specifications by reviewing XML, JSON, and similar file types is required.
- Experience designing front end graphical interfaces is preferred.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies is preferred.
- Experience developing enterprise applications is preferred.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems together through standard API interfaces or middleware is preferred.
- Experience in software development lifecycle tools [JIRA] and software development methodologies is required.
- Experience with requirements analysis in an Agile environment is required.
- Experience as a contributing team member in an Agile software development environment is required.
- Experience working with and understanding the product owner role in an Agile software organization is required.
- Experience with the legal/court system is preferred.
- Experience with background screening is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required. Relevant business management systems such as general ledger, HRIS, CRM, etc. is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Certifications or licensure: Driver's license and ability to maintain a driving record that is satisfactory to the company’s liability insurance carrier is required.
- Years of relevant experience: 2 to 5 years is preferred.
- Years of experience supervising: None.
Working Conditions
- The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of offices, including the need for general safe workplace practices with office equipment and computers, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations.
- This position is performed remotely within the United States or in an office setting in the Cleveland, Ohio headquarters, although off-site meetings in various settings may occur.
- Inside Asurint’s office environment, the noise level is usually quiet to moderate.
- In a remote setting, the employee is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment, for arranging the off-site workspace in an ergonomically sound manner, and for maintaining standard Internet speeds in order to work effectively.
- In a remote setting, the employee is required to ensure that all equipment and records that are the property of Asurint but have been relocated to the off-site workplace, are maintained in a safe and secure manner and are used only for business purposes.
- The schedule is generally normal Eastern Time Zone business hours (unless otherwise communicated based on position or working location), although the employee may be required to perform work, attend meetings and events before or after normal workings hours, and occasionally on weekends and evenings.
- Some travel by personal automobile and a valid driver’s license is required. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Ability to lift light objects (less than 20 pounds) and carry them short distances (20 feet or less) is required.
