We’re currently looking for a detail-oriented and driven Accounting Specialist to join our team and assist with critical financial processes that keep our organization running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities:
As the Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the Finance Team with various month-end and operational tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include:


Month-End Financial Activities:

  • Processing invoices and making timely payments
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Reconciling vendor accounts (Sage to Curemint, Sage to vendor statements)
  • Handling end-of-month accruals and journal entries
  • Managing credit card and payroll data imports

Payroll Processing:

  • Calculating commission-based compensation (Dr. Payroll)
  • Assisting in processing commission-based payrolls
  • Creating and distributing payroll reports for commission-based employees
  • Calculating and processing bonus payrolls

New Office Financial Analysis:

  • Creating ProForma analysis for new office acquisition opportunities
  • Collaborating with the Business Development group to assess acquisition prospects
  • Partnering with the Onboarding and Home Office teams to communicate practice profiles and specifics of acquisition opportunities, ensuring a smooth handoff to the integration teams

General Duties:

  • Assisting the Finance Team and the broader organization as needed with various financial tasks

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing
  • Proficiency with financial systems such as Sage and Curemint is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
  • Ideally- 2+ years working in an accounting and/or finance related role
  • Proactive and curious to learn 
  • Ability to work with diverse Teams
Salary Description
$60k per year
