We’re currently looking for a detail-oriented and driven Accounting Specialist to join our team and assist with critical financial processes that keep our organization running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the Finance Team with various month-end and operational tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Month-End Financial Activities:
- Processing invoices and making timely payments
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Reconciling vendor accounts (Sage to Curemint, Sage to vendor statements)
- Handling end-of-month accruals and journal entries
- Managing credit card and payroll data imports
Payroll Processing:
- Calculating commission-based compensation (Dr. Payroll)
- Assisting in processing commission-based payrolls
- Creating and distributing payroll reports for commission-based employees
- Calculating and processing bonus payrolls
New Office Financial Analysis:
- Creating ProForma analysis for new office acquisition opportunities
- Collaborating with the Business Development group to assess acquisition prospects
- Partnering with the Onboarding and Home Office teams to communicate practice profiles and specifics of acquisition opportunities, ensuring a smooth handoff to the integration teams
General Duties:
- Assisting the Finance Team and the broader organization as needed with various financial tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing
- Proficiency with financial systems such as Sage and Curemint is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
- Ideally- 2+ years working in an accounting and/or finance related role
