The Impact You Will Make
The Paralegal will be responsible for providing support to the attorneys in the Legal and Risk Management Team. The role requires focus, drive, compassion, and thoughtfulness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help support the Company’s overall docket of employment, commercial and general liability lawsuits, pre-litigation disputes, and regulatory complaints, including performing fact investigations, handling legal and regulatory filings and other administrative responsibilities.
- Assist attorneys with deposition and trial preparation, including assistance with the preparation of witnesses for deposition, trial, mediation or arbitration.
- Assist in responding to subpoenas, requests for records and other discovery requests under the supervision of internal counsel.
- Assist in responding to regulatory complaints, including EEOC complaints.
- Prepare and draft employment-related agreements.
- Help manage legal entity registrations and renewals for the Company and all Company subsidiaries – this includes maintaining, organizing and tracking formation documents, good standing certificates and operative agreements.
- Assist attorneys in the closing of commercial real estate financings and other transactional matters, acquisitions and divestitures; assist with due diligence review for commercial real estate and M&A transactions; prepare and manage deal-related spreadsheets and closing checklists; and organize closing documentation.
- Help support the Company’s contract management process, including drafting, formatting, proofreading, reviewing, and redlining documents, contracts and other agreements.
- Be capable of performing legal research and analyzing statutes and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s/four-year degree.
- 4+ years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department.

- On-site at Support Center, M-F required.
