As a Field Service Technician at MMS, your main responsibility will be to repair malfunctioning manufacturing machine tools and ensure that the machines are operating at their best. This position requires advanced skills and experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance. Travel is required for this role, approximately 5% of the time.


Pekin, Illinois, Full-time, Shifts Vary Based on Customer Need. The successful candidate may be required to work weekends and overtime regularly, and working hours will be flexible based on business needs. The starting wage offer will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Requirements

To be seriously considered for this role, candidates should have:


- 5+ years of maintenance experience

- High school diploma or equivalent (industrial maintenance technician program preferred)

- Advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills

- Experience with CNC equipment and PLCs

- Ability to read and interpret schematics and use test equipment

- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills

- Must have a valid state driver’s license and a dependable vehicle


Responsibilities include:

- Troubleshooting and repairing production equipment

- Performing mechanical and electrical upgrades

- Ensuring compliance with safety standards

Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing, and lifting over 50 pounds
