Description

International Cybernetics Company is looking to strengthen our team with a Sidewalk Asset Analyst. The role requires proficiency in data quality verification and spatial testing of a variety of data types, including lidar, MicroStation, and GIS.

The ideal candidate is an organized, hands-on problem solver with high attention to detail who enjoys working with computers while collaborating proactively with colleagues and customers.

This position will require critical thinking, time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work on multiple projects autonomously.

Based in Largo, FL, International Cybernetics Company (ICC) has designed and manufactured devices to collect road surface data since its founding in 1975. In May of 2022, ICC acquired Infrastructure Management Services (IMS), which is now fully integrated as the services division of ICC. Together, ICC and IMS boast almost five decades of experience in pavement engineering and analysis, software development, automated data collection equipment manufacturing, and ROW mapping.

Requirements

 Responsibilities

  • Manipulation and integration of data into various tools and software and manipulation of tabular data and creation of GIS files.  Oversees the field collection process of assigned projects by communicating with field collection crews and providing updates to project stakeholders.
  • Conducts quality control/quality assurance on data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Provides support to engineers and managers to prepare and review client deliverables. 
  • Work in partnership with colleagues on continuous improvements to programs and processes.
  • Hold self and others to a high standard of ethical and interpersonal conduct to protect and build the ICC brand and to safeguard team morale.
  • Proactively identify problems and recommend solutions before they impact the project quality or delivery timeframes.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor degree or higher in a technical field
  • Capable of merging different data streams and capable of identifying anomalies in these different data streams effectively
  • Capable of working independently on assigned tasks and knowing when to escalate issues encountered.
  • Great (spatial) problem solver
  • Comfortable working independently with a remote team
  • Organized, and able to handle multiple priorities
  • Proven experience with FME Form
  • Experience with GIS Software
  • Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills
  • Strong communication skills

  

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Knowledge of ADA, Prowag
  • Microstation experience


Salary Description
$24.00 - $29.00 per hour
