We are seeking a Chief Lending Officer (CLO) to oversee all aspects of our commercial lending operations, including strategy, execution, and risk management. This executive will develop and implement lending policies, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive growth and profitability in our loan portfolios. The CLO will work closely with senior leadership to align lending strategies with the overall business goals of the bank.

What you’ll spend your time doing:


Strategy and Growth:

· Develop and execute the strategic direction for lending, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.

· Contribute to the bank’s overarching strategic plan, vision, and execution of strategic direction.

· Identify and drive innovative lending solutions and technologies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.


Product Development:

· Create and implement new lending products that adhere to regulatory guidelines, mitigate risk, and optimize loan performance.


Portfolio Management:

· Collaborate with the Chief Credit Officer to manage the lending portfolio, including credit risk assessment, loan underwriting, and performance monitoring.


Team Leadership:

· Lead, mentor, and develop the lending team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

· Establish and coach to incentive-based goals.


Stakeholder Engagement:

· Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, investors, and community partners.

· Monitor and analyze lending metrics and performance; report out to key stakeholders on the executive team and board.

Requirements

 Qualifications 

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. (MBA or other advanced degree preferred.)

· 12+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on lending and partnerships.

· Proven track record of developing and managing successful lending partnerships with fintech companies or financial institutions.

· Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills.

· Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

· Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to lending and partnerships.
