Overview
The GM, Financial Services will play a critical role in growing Vantaca's ecosystem by driving customer happiness and financial results in our payments processing products (both electronic and off-line) and owning relationships with financial institutions and ecosystem partners. This senior leader will be instrumental in delivering significant revenue growth in an industry with hundreds of billions of dollars of annual transactions.
The role requires a visionary leader with deep understanding of payments processing, banking, and the broad financial services landscape. With a deep appreciation for the revenue models of financial institutions and payments solutions, the GM, Financial Services will ensure the company leverages its ecosystem to create and capture value for customers and Vantaca.
Accountability and Key Initiatives
- Lead the strategy to monetize Vantaca's ecosystem, focusing on payments processing products, banking relationships, and development of an exceptional financial services partner ecosystem.
- Develop and nurture banking partnerships, ensuring they are leveraged effectively to drive revenue growth.
- Oversee the payments processing product portfolio and the ecosystem of financial solutions.
- Existing operational leadership within this function will report to this position.
- Drive financial results within the biggest growth driving function in the business.
- Partner closely with the CEO, CFO, CRO, and other executive leaders to execute on strategic initiatives and business objectives.
- Work closely with product leaders to continuously enhance payments processing products and other banking solutions, ensuring customer needs are met and revenue opportunities are maximized.
- Ensure all compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop new revenue streams through innovative financial solutions tailored to the community management industry.
- Own the P&L for financial services, driving towards aggressive revenue goals.
- 10+ years in financial services, with 5-10 years at a bank, followed by a successful transition into payments or fintech.
- Deep understanding of financial institution revenue models and financial product monetization.
- Extensive experience in banking partnerships, payment solutions, and AP/AR services.
- Proven ability to lead teams, including product development, operations, and business strategy, with a focus on financial services.
- Demonstrated success in driving significant revenue growth through strategic partnerships and product innovation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and departments.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field; MBA or equivalent is preferred.
