Description

Summary/Objective

This position is responsible for the input of items into the pricing system, maintaining accurate pricing throughout the store, running misc. pricing related reports, hanging shelf tags, and communicating with department managers and/or leadership teams regarding pricing matters. 


This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


Position Responsibilities (Include but not limited to)

  • Maintain and coordinate all files for pricing accuracy and efficiency in collaboration with suppliers and department managers. 
  • Hang tags and signs with accuracy, in a timely manner.
  • Answer telephone and direct calls. 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy while also possessing a sense of urgency. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities to ensure all work is completed timely and accurately according to policies and procedures. 
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. 
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Comply with the maintenance and sanitation standards of the company and governmental regulatory agencies at all times.
  • Comply with all company policies, programs, and directives specified in the Team Member Handbook.
  • Must be familiar with all company safety and accident prevention policies, reporting all accidents to the Store Director.
  • Must be familiar with store layout, location of safety, and emergency equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office environment as well as in a retail food environment with a diverse population and may be exposed to inclement weather. 


Travel

Requirements

Required Education, Skills, and Experience

  • High School diploma.
  • Current Food Handlers Permit.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook. 
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to streamline processes for best efficiency.
  • Grocery retail/pricing coordinator experience or experience in a related field.
