Summary: The Program Manager, Community Impact, will support efforts to enhance the financial lives of vulnerable and low-wealth households through targeted community impact initiatives. This person will assist the team and contribute to the development, management, and execution of technical assistance and capacity-building projects. The role involves identifying and scaling local economic programming and policy solutions to support non-profits, including social service agencies, housing agencies, asset development organizations, and Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs). The Program Manager is a self-starter that will act as a liaison with partners, research and format TA training topics, and facilitate the development of various program and project support. Additionally, they will implement strategic direction provided by Associate Director and Vice President. 


Accountability: Reports to Associate Director, Community Impact


Responsibilities:

· Develop work plans, implement project activities, and align strategic direction of program and organizational goals to advance research findings.

· Facilitate technical assistance training to non-profit partners and mission-driven leaders.

· Collect and manage logistic, operational, and communication needs of program participants. 

· Recruit, organize and manage relationships with partners and other stakeholders.

· Draft and edit internal and external communications, including reports, best practices, website content, blogs, and factsheets.

· Coordinate marketing and communication requests for project deliverables, story capturing, promotional materials 

· Develop calendar and schedule timelines of program engagement activities.

· Create facilitation guides, support in developing training content, and manage coordination of guest speakers, consultants, and preparation for workshops, trainings, webinars, and conference calls.

· Assist with scheduling team meetings, managing deliverables, and ensuring adherence to processes.

· Support collecting grantee financial documentation, reimbursement processes and contract management needs.

· Maintain organizational structure of project documentation, tools, accounts and TA resources.

· Provide administration and project support to the Associate Director. 

· Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:  

· Four years of relevant experience; or a master’s and two (2) years of experience of which two years were at a Senior Associate level or the equivalent

· Bachelor’s degree in political science, economics, public policy, urban planning, nonprofit management-related field or the equivalent years of experience 

· Minimum of three years of experience managing projects.  

· Strong project management skills and developing action steps, research solution-oriented activities.

· Experience providing training and technical assistance

· Developing and maintaining relationships with partner organizations, consultants and coalitions.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

· Demonstrates high degree of initiative and productivity combined with accuracy; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines 


Preferred

· Experience or expertise in the green economy, housing and/or entrepreneurship.

· Experience managing Government funded projects.

· PMP Certification

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Travel: 10% 


FLSA Classification: Exempt, Level 3


Salary Range: The salary for this position is $60,800 to $91,200 per year, with a midpoint of $76,000.
