Our HME business is growing! We are now accepting applications for full-time employment as a Home Care Delivery Specialist.
We are seeking candidates who excel in providing prompt, friendly, and positive experiences for patients and team members. The position requires maintaining confidentiality, the ability to multitask, analytical skills, and close attention to detail.
A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and computer skills are required. A valid driver’s license is also required. Customer service and/or medical services-related experience is preferred.

TASKS AND DUTIES:
MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND RESPIRATORY SERVICES:
- Educating patients about Medical Equipment and Respiratory Services
- In-home medical equipment setups and checkups
- Medical equipment repairs, maintenance, and related documentation
- Assist with inventory management, including rentals and supplies
- Occasional assistance with transfill of oxygen
- Maintain records and ensure compliance with all required training and continuing education for staff with respect to Medicare Accreditation, FDA, DOT, OSHA, etc.
- After hour on call duties (in rotation with other staff)
DELIVERY CUSTOMER SERVICE:
- Generation of delivery tickets utilizing HME software
- Weekly delivery of oxygen to patients (generally within a 60-mile radius)
- Delivery of medical equipment
- Occasional prescription deliveries to patients within the city limits
- Use of personal vehicle may occasionally be required – mileage to be reimbursed at federal rate
OTHER:
- Maintaining clean and organized work rooms, storage rooms and delivery vehicles
- Occasional shared housekeeping duties such as sweeping, dusting, cleaning, etc.
- Function within the limits of the law and Midwest Family Health policies and procedures and the employee manual
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned to assist in the smooth, efficient operation of the store
