Scrum Master/Project Manager
Description

Scrum Master Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure the team follows agile practices and principles.
  • Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team empowerment.
  • Coach and mentor team members on agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with product owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Support the Product Owner and Scrum team members with feature and user story development that outline the requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Monitor the team’s progress and performance, using metrics such as burndown charts, and report to stakeholders as needed. 

Project Management Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Track and report on project progress, performance, and deliverables.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communication.
Requirements

Required Skills:

  • BA/BS or equivalent years of experience working in a related position.
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a combined Scrum Master and project management role.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. 
  • Adaptability and flexibility in responding to changing project demands.
Salary Description
$125,000 – $128,500
