Description
Scrum Master Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure the team follows agile practices and principles.
- Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team empowerment.
- Coach and mentor team members on agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with product owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
- Support the Product Owner and Scrum team members with feature and user story development that outline the requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor the team’s progress and performance, using metrics such as burndown charts, and report to stakeholders as needed.
Project Management Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Track and report on project progress, performance, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communication.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- BA/BS or equivalent years of experience working in a related position.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a combined Scrum Master and project management role.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Adaptability and flexibility in responding to changing project demands.
Salary Description
$125,000 – $128,500
