Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, promote, and organize student activities and student volunteer opportunities.
- Promote and organize student organizations (i.e. Eagle Techs, Student Veterans, Women of WyoTech, etc…)
- Assist in maintaining compliance in areas including but not limited to - Clery Act Reporting (Annual Security Report), Title IX, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), Drug Free Schools Act, Constitution Day, Americans with Disabilities (ADA).
- Plan, promote, and organize educational/prevention programming in areas including - Alcohol/Drugs, Mental Health/Suicide, Conflict Management, Homesickness.
- Coordinate and organize community resource referrals and student crisis response.
- Coordinate student community orientations and actively seek out community partnerships which benefit students.
- Hire and oversee Federal Work Study Students serving as – Tutors, Activity Assistants, Community Service Assistants
- Collaborate with all departments to promote student experience and success.
- Track student participation in student services programming.
Associated Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- Be solution oriented, resourceful, and proactive with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Advanced ability to work independently and must be able to organize and demonstrate initiative.
- Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent customer services skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with a consultative style.
- Ability to promote/maintain a cooperative work environment
- Ability to adapt to changing work requirement and priorities that may require overtime or extended hours.
