WyoTech is seeking a candidate to plan and promote opportunities for students to create connections on campus and in the community. The Student Services Coordinator’s primary focus should be fostering an environment that creates the BEST STUDENT EXPERIENCE.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, promote, and organize student activities and student volunteer opportunities.
  • Promote and organize student organizations (i.e. Eagle Techs, Student Veterans, Women of WyoTech, etc…)
  • Assist in maintaining compliance in areas including but not limited to - Clery Act Reporting (Annual Security Report), Title IX, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), Drug Free Schools Act, Constitution Day, Americans with Disabilities (ADA).
  • Plan, promote, and organize educational/prevention programming in areas including - Alcohol/Drugs, Mental Health/Suicide, Conflict Management, Homesickness.
  • Coordinate and organize community resource referrals and student crisis response.
  • Coordinate student community orientations and actively seek out community partnerships which benefit students.
  • Hire and oversee Federal Work Study Students serving as – Tutors, Activity Assistants, Community Service Assistants
  • Collaborate with all departments to promote student experience and success.
  • Track student participation in student services programming.

Associated Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience 

  • Be solution oriented, resourceful, and proactive with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
  • Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Advanced ability to work independently and must be able to organize and demonstrate initiative.
  • Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent customer services skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with a consultative style.
  • Ability to promote/maintain a cooperative work environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing work requirement and priorities that may require overtime or extended hours.
Requirements

Salary Description
$40,000 - $47,500
