How you’ll get to help us do that: Reporting to the Controller, make a significant financial impact to our Crushed Concrete and Equipment Divisions by collaborating with operations teams to drive continuous improvements with a focus on historical performance, compliance, and financial reporting.


What you’ll get to do:

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance by managing field logs, deposits, outside vendor invoices, equipment inspections vs. use, invoices, payables, billings, workpapers, work orders, and timecards, while supporting ANA tracking and reconciliation
  • Optimize operational efficiency and control costs by tracking tonnage for resource allocation, maintaining accurate fuel inventory, and reconciling fuel volumes, and managing the fuel system, including driver entry and troubleshooting
  • Facilitate informed decision-making and provide insights into resource utilization, labor efficiency, maintenance costs, and other business data by conducting daily work order reviews, managing ANA tracking and reporting, and generating weekly and monthly dashboards and scorecards
  • Enable efficient asset management by overseeing asset setup, corrective/preventive actions, ownership data, meter tracking, DMV registrations and renewals, insurance notifications, and rental tracking, while also assisting with annual capital expenditure      planning
  • Help refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Help Guides, and system documentation to improve operational efficiency and knowledge transfer

What you bring to the role:

  • 2+ years of full general ledger accounting experience
  • You’ve always been known as the rock for your team, providing the stability and consistency needed to keep everything on track
  • You have an eagle eye for detail, noticing things that many would overlook, making sure the financial data is always spot-on
  • You're the office puzzle-solver, always jumping in to tackle challenges to keep financial processes running smoothly

Even better (but not required) if you have:

  • Construction accounting experience
