Job Overview
As an Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you will be a vital member of our finance team, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer payments. Your ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and pay close attention to detail will be critical to your success in this role. You will also play a key role in resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate financial records, all while supporting the team with a well-organized approach to managing accounts receivable tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include:
- Accurate Payment Posting: Efficiently post customer payments in the CieTrade system, including checks, ACH, wire, and credit card transactions, ensuring records are meticulously maintained.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve account discrepancies by gathering and reviewing information from Account Management and customers, clearly communicating any issues and solutions.
- Proactive Collections: Identify and collect past due balances with a strong focus on timelines, accuracy, and professional communication with customers.
- Weekly Reporting: Generate and distribute weekly aging reports, communicating insights clearly to the administration team and recommending actionable steps for resolution of unpaid balances.
- Deduction Management: Analyze and resolve unauthorized or invalid deductions, following through with attention to detail and persistence.
- Daily Reconciliation: Reconcile daily deposits and ensure financial records are kept clear and accurate.
- Customer Contact: Manage weekly customer contacts to facilitate invoice payments, balancing time management skills with a personalized approach to customer relations.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of both organizational and customer information, ensuring professionalism at all times.
- Additional Projects: Support the team with other ad-hoc projects, ensuring high levels of organization and adherence to deadlines.
Required Qualification & Skills
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma required; associate’s degree in business or accounting preferred
Experience:
- At least 1 year of Accounts Receivable experience
Technical Proficiency:
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to create clear and accurate records
Core Skills:
- Strong communication skills to convey issues and solutions effectively
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities
- High attention to detail when recording payments and managing accounts
Personal Qualities:
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to solving problems and following through to resolution
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally

Applicants' remote working location must be within either Central Time Zone or Eastern Time Zone. The required business hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm Eastern Time. This position is compensated with a pay rate of $18.00 - $20.00 an hour. Our Accounts Receivable position is a full time, benefits eligible, non-exempt, remote role.
