Line Cook
Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team and help us prepare delicious meals for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure. 


Responsibilities:

- Prepare ingredients for dishes according to recipes and menu specifications

- Cook dishes to order in a timely and efficient manner

- Monitor food stock levels and replenish supplies as needed

- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to our high standards of quality and consistency

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including kitchen equipment and utensils

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff and servers to ensure that orders are prepared and served promptly

- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager


Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma preferred

- Must have 1 to 2 years' experience as a line cook

- Must be able to pass a background check

- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment

- Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
