Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Director to lead a North East US-based regional sales team in achieving our business objectives. This role will be responsible for guiding, focusing, and motivating an indirect sales team of Manufacturer’s Representatives to successfully market RenewAire products through a network of wholesale HVAC distributors and commercial HVAC sales offices in the residential, light commercial, design / build, and plan & spec markets. You will be tasked to significantly grow our level of business, market share, and brand awareness in the region.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and targets.
  • Manage and motivate a team of Manufacturer’s Representatives to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HVAC channel partners including wholesale HVAC distributors and commercial HVAC sales offices.
  • Use strong technical knowledge to effectively establish relationships and support product specifications through consulting engineers and design/build contractors.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.
  • Recruit, hire and train new manufacturer rep firms.
  • Review, evaluate and re-assign channel partner territory assignments as necessary.
  • Establish and deliver training programs for channel partners to ensure proper knowledge and resources to sell RenewAire product.
  • Represent RenewAire at assigned trade shows and conferences.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns
Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field is required.
  • HVAC design experience (sizing & selection of equipment for residential and commercial facilities).
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience with manufacturer reps, mechanical distributors and wholesaler.
  • Proven success in technical sales to consulting and specifying engineers, design/build engineers and owners/developers.
  • 50% travel required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office.

The base pay range for this position is $120,000-140,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid and titled depends on several factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, length of service, and geographic location. RenewAire also provides Sales Incentive Plan, health, dental and vision insurance, 401k with a 6% match, Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays.
